We’ve been patiently counting down the days until spring and now we have something super fun to look forward to – Seattle Seedling’s Spring Fling! This will be the first of many garden nerd classes to come. I will be hosting them on my little urban farm – my yard and kitchen will be our classroom!
In this first session, Spring Quarter: Seeds and Seedlings, you will learn techniques for growing vegetables from seed, an economical and rewarding way to get your garden started. We’ll cover square foot gardening, seed sowing and strategies for thinning and transplanting new seedlings. This class will be hands-on and an awesome confidence booster for beginning gardeners! You’ll  get the skills you need to get your own garden growing, whether you have a large garden or just a few containers on the balcony.
After getting our hands dirty in the garden, we’ll wrap up the session with a light lunch featuring seasonal fare, which I will prepare especially for you. I can’t wait to have you over for lunch! And thanks to Seattle Seed Company and a few of my other friends, you’ll get a garden nerd goody bag to take home with you so that you’re ready to get your garden growing!
I’ve decided to put two dates on the calendar for this class, so if you can’t come one day, maybe you can come the other day. The class content will be the same though, so no need to sign up for both.
Saturday, March 30th from 11:00 – 1:00 Sold Out!
Sunday, April 7 from 11:00 – 1:00 Sold Out!
New dates recently added! Click here!
So, are you in? Awesome! The fee for this fabulous class and luncheon is $50. Email me at email@example.com and I will send you the details you need to reserve your spot.
Those days don’t work for you? Bummer! We will miss you! But don’t worry – there will be other garden nerd gatherings this summer! I have several ideas for summer quarter so watch out for those details in the future.
I would LOVE it if you would spread the word about this class! Who do you know who could use a little fun in the dirt and a good meal? Send them my way!
Here’s the fine print. I understand that sometimes things happen and you may need to cancel after you sign up. Since I’ll need to buy ingredients and start prepping for the class ahead of time, I will not be able to give you a full refund if you cancel within a week before the day of the class. I will however, put $25 of your paid class fee towards my next class, in the event that you have to cancel within that window. Thank you in advance for understanding!
